1. Ladies Finger
Well Lady Finger is a beautiful and healthy vegetable also known as bhindi in India. Growing lady finger is not a rocket science but you certainly need some patience as it requires larger amount of sunlight. So first thing is to find a sun light spot to grow Lady finger. After that keep the lady finger seeds in water for around 18 hours to loose it’s hard seed cover. Generally the germination process starts in 5 days and be patient as the growth of the plant is slow.
Spinach is known as paalak in Hindi. It is the ultimate source of iron for human body. Planting spinach is easy as it doesn’t demand many conditions but optimum sunlight but remember wherever you keep the plant never let the temperature exceed 15 C temperatures. You need a container or seedlings tray to sow the seeds directly. Normally these seeds take 5-12 days for the germination process to complete and rest is taken care by the climatic conditions.
Brinjal or Baigan is another very commonly used vegetable found in India. The best thing about brinjal is that they can be grown throughout the year. Planting brinjal requires both indoor and outdoor placements. Indoor placement is for sowing the seeds whereas outdoor placements are to expose the plant in sunlight so that it will get maximum yield. Brinjal needs larger space to grow so always plant them in larger pots .
Tomato is a juicy vegetable also known as tamatar in India. Undoubtedly , tomatoes are the easiest to harvest and grow . Grow it anywhere whether it is a pot, garden bed or a container it grows well everywhere. Preparation of the growing medium is must and also chooses a spot that gets 6 to 8 hours of sunlight every day for the best yield .once you are done with the sowing sprinkle the tomato seeds very thinly. Allow them to grow at least 5-6 inches then only transplant them as per your garden requirement.
Cucumber aka Kheera( in Hindi) is one of the important summer vegetables commonly used in salads. Cucumbers are easy to grow as it only requires large amount of sunlight and moist fertile soil to give you the good share of yield. Cucumbers are summer vine crops that means they require steady supply of water to sustain.
